FIRST STEP

Elaboration of the Environmental Primer and award

SECOND STAGE

Wide dissemination of material for developments for environmental awareness.

GOALS

  • - Use the language of art aimed at children to awaken environmental awareness;
  • - Through the environmental booklet, join forces with children so that they can multiply actions aimed at their families and friends to preserve the environment;
  • - Produce quality didactic material to be used in joint actions with the Environment, Education and Culture Secretariats to bring knowledge about the relevant environmental issue;
  • - Prepare materials initially for the children's age group and later the other bands with specific language for all audiences so that everyone has knowledge of the environmental theme.

METHODOLOGICAL SUGGESTION FOR STUDY ROUTE

  • 1 - Do the initial reading of the booklet with the students;
  • 2 - Identify the characters of Turma do Soninho and others;
  • 3 - Understand the proposal of Turma do Soninho;
  • 4 - Analyze the issue of garbage and cleaning in the city;
  • 5 - Structure and motivate among students the concept of multiplying environmental and ethical values;
  • 6 - Reflect on the study of the environment and neighborhood issues;
  • 7 - Develop theme proposals for Turma do Soninho after coloring the booklet;
  • 8 - Encourage students to design content related to ecological issues;
  • 9 - Develop a debate among students;
  • 10 - Invite students to be multipliers in defense of the environment.

SOCIAL RETURN OF THE PROJECT

The elaboration of this project was an absolute success and recognition by the Diadema City Council that awarded the Environmental Primer on June 5, 2012, on Environment Day, the entity received the Dorothy Stang Award, an award that left us very honored to be able to continue a project that had already been developed and idealized with the Exhibition Visions of Global Warming.

The entity received more than 40 schools from the Municipal Network of Diadema, where students were accompanied by teachers and after explaining the topic in question, they used the booklet for the purpose of illustrating the content in question.

Currently, in partnership with the Jornal Diadema News, we produce articles related to the issue of environmental education and environmental issues and sustainable solutions with a scientific and practical basis for improving the quality of life and respect for the environment.
